RICHARDSON INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT will receive REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS for Child Nutrition Disposable Supplies and Related Items until 2:30 pm CDT, Friday, October 26, 2018.
Proposals will be publicly opened on that date at 2:30 pm in the RISD Purchasing Department, 1123 S. Greenville Avenue, Richardson, TX 75081. Each proposal shall be submitted using the electronic bid system found at:
Tabulation of this information will be presented at the Board of Trustees Meeting on Monday, January 14, 2019 for consideration in awarding contracts.

SEALED PROPOSALS addressed to the Notary of the Dallas County Park Cities Municipal Utility District, Dallas County, Texas (“District” or “Owner”) will be received at the General Manager’s Office, 1811 Regal Row, Dallas, TX 75235 until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018, and then publicly opened and read aloud for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work required for the construction of Air Valve Replacements for 36” Park Cities Water Main and other improvements incidental thereto.
The project includes open cut replacement and relocation of two (2) 2-inch combination air valves, one (1) 2-inch copper pipe, and restoration of all paving and incidentals located in the City of Dallas and the Town of Highland Park, Texas.
PROPOSAL shall be submitted in sealed envelopes upon the blank form of the proposal furnished. Electronic Proposal Forms will not be accepted unless accompanied by a hard copy with appropriate signatures in accordance with the Proposal Requirements. Sealed envelopes shall be marked “AIR VALVE REPLACEMENTS - PROPOSAL ENCLOSED - DO NOT OPEN UNTIL NOVEMBER 8, 2018, 10:00 AM."
In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, the Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous price thereof, or to reject any or all Proposals. Award shall be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder; however, the District reserves the right, after evaluation of all bids received, to make no recommendation to its Board of Directors regarding the award of any bid in the event non-responsive, non-conforming, or otherwise unacceptable bids are received, or if budgetary constraints or other unanticipated factors exist.
No Proposal may be withdrawn within NINETY (90) days after date on which Proposals are opened.
PROPOSALS shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check upon a national or state bank, or a bid bond from a reliable surety company in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the District Board Room Located at 1811 Regal Row, Dallas, TX 75235. Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the project. Engineer will distribute to prospective bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to discussions or inquiries arising at the conference.
Complete Contract Documents as needed for bidding on the Project may be purchased between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday from the Engineer, Nathan D. Maier Consulting Engineers, Inc. (NDM), Phone: 214.739.4741, at 12377 Merit Drive, Suite 700, Dallas, TX 75251, at a non-refundable cost of $25.00 per set for full-size, $25.00 per set for half-size, and $25.00 per set for CD-ROM drawings with specifications (pdf format).
A 24-hour notice must be given to the Engineer prior to picking up drawings and specifications.
Copies of the Contract Documents have also been provided to Reed Construction Data, McGraw Hill Construction Dodge, North Texas Construction Report, D/FW Minority Plan Room, and Whitley & Siddons.

Sealed Bids for construction of the Raw Water Pipe and Washwater Pump Modification project will be received by the Dallas County Park Cities MUD, 1811 Regal Row, Dallas, Texas, 75325 until 2:00 PM on November 8, 2018. At that time and place, Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid.
Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of 60 days after the actual date of the opening of the Bids.
The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond with a surety company acceptable to the OWNER.

OWNER reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
